Arrange a funeral
Arranging a funeral can be a difficult process emotionally, we have put together a few key details below to help guide you through the process.
Although not a requirement, we do recommend using a local Funeral Director to arrange a funeral service at Mayfields Woodland Burial Ground. The Funeral Director will arrange all your wishes with us, and we will ensure your ceremony is seamless.
You do not need to use a specific Funeral Director, but we ask that specific types of coffins and caskets be used. As a woodland burial ground, cremated remains need to be interred loose or in an eco-friendly casket, please contact us to find out more. This means we minimise the impact on the local eco-system. You can also scatter cremated remains at one our dedicated scattering areas that runs along the bank of the river.
If you are looking to the future, we do offer the ability to pre-purchase a plot, and you can do this by contacting us and we can speak with you directly.
